The beginning of the quartz explosion!
They no longer named it Eterna Matic wich in the later years they start to use again. Also, the famous 5 points of the ball bearing did not longer appear on the dial. Luckily all came back with the revival of the automatic watches.
Caliber 12824 a complete Eta movement but Eterna placed a 1 before the calibre number!
So it did had his own identity.
Complete original as they were sold at that time with signed crown, strap and plated buckle.
