Calibre 12824 – Eta 2824 around 1971 Eterna start with complete Eta movements in their watches not any longer made to Eterna,s specification to compete for the battle against the quartz explosion.To give the calibre a number they placed a 1 in front of the Eta calibre. Cheap quartz watches from the Far East did conquer all over the world and all Suisse watch manufacturers did get problems.
